Membership & Community

The HAPS membership is made up of a diverse group of educators. Our diversity is our strength. Each member not only represents a segment of the population and varying levels of institutions from high school up through graduate and medical school, but they bring with them experiences, understanding, and discipline insights that creates a community of growth and learning and respect. Through the diversity of our membership and the opportunities for community, learning, and professional growth, HAPS is an organization for all individuals committed to reaching for excellence and understanding in anatomy and physiology education.

We invite you to join and experience all that HAPS has to offer.

Members-Only List-Serve

The Member’s listserv (known as HAPS-L) has hundreds of members, is very active, and routinely has some amazingly high level conversations among educators like yourself. It is a place of asking those questions among colleagues that you have but have no one to ask. The HAPS discussion group is open to all current HAPS members. Read More.

Book Club

The HAPS Book Club has its own listserv discussion board. Information on current and upcoming book club reads are shared, announcements on monthly virtual book club sessions are provided, and members share stories, articles, and personal insights pertaining to past and current books. It is a safe space to share, discuss, and grow within a community of learners. Read More.

HAPS Blog

The HAPS Blog has been created to promote HAPS members sharing personal accounts of various topics relevant to the HAPS membership and larger community. We invite everyone to join the conversation, become part of the community, and maybe even dip the phalange into the water of Blog writing. Read More.
