Benefits of Membership
Here are just a few of the member benefits!
Teaching Resource Hub
Resources have been created and curated by HAPS members and committees over the years, and are organized by type. Members can access the hub to find free downloadable tips, tricks and curriculum ideas. Learn more.
Discussion Groups
The HAPS Discussion Group (also known as HAPS-L and before that as “the listserv”) is the place where the most interesting conversations in A&P happen. This discussion group has hundreds of members, is very active, and routinely has some amazingly high-level conversations among leaders in the field.
HAPS Comprehensive Exam
A fully online exam used both in the US and Internationally to characterize Instructors, Programs, and individual students. Learn more.
Learning Outcomes
HAPS has developed three sets of learning outcomes for the three types of anatomy and physiology courses: combined anatomy and physiology (A&P) learning outcomes for a two-semester undergraduate A&P course sequence, anatomy learning outcomes for a one-semester undergraduate anatomy course, and physiology learning outcomes for a one-semester undergraduate physiology course.
Join our Community of A&P instructors across the globe to:
- LEARN from other HAPS members – our diverse community includes new instructors with fresh ideas, seasoned instructors with decades of practical classroom experience, textbook authors, and education researchers.
- SHARE your knowledge with other members and have a tangible impact on students outside your own classroom.
- NETWORK with others for mutual support, practical advice, and research collaborations.
- SERVE the organization and gain leadership experience by participating in HAPS committees, specific initiatives, or the Board of Directors.
