Archives
The HAPS Educator began in 1987 as an annual, 2-page, black and white print newsletter delivered by the postal service to HAPS members. Since that time, its breadth and depth of information has continually undergone expansion and revision, allowing it to now be recognized as a journal that provides peer-reviewed articles that are well situated in the current literature to all anatomy and physiology educators. The HAPS Educator is published online three times per year with the occasional special edition added in. Please follow this link to access earlier editions of the HAPS Educator in all its forms.
Submission Guidelines
The HAPS Educator is published three times per year (spring, summer and winter). Occasionally, there is a special edition with a particular topic focus. Submissions are welcome at any time and please allow 2-3 months for your submission to undergo review and for you to complete requested revisions. Please follow this link to access the detailed instructions for preparing your submission. Following those guidelines carefully will facilitate moving your manuscript through the review process efficiently.
Review for the Educator
We are always happy to welcome HAPS members who want to expand their scholarly experience by being reviewers for the HAPS Educator, whether or not you have prior reviewing experience. It is rewarding to help new authors finalize their submissions in preparation for publication and experience gained by reviewing manuscripts can help you with publishing your own work. If you are interested (and you will be asked to review no more than 2 times per year), please reach out to the editor-in-chief jcarnegie@hapsconnect.org and we will add you to the editorial team.
